Don't panic. Don't feel shame. Act fast — these steps can help.

STEP 1

Block the scammer's number. Do not reply, do not send more money.

STEP 2

Tell them you may have been scammed. They can freeze transfers that haven't gone through yet.

STEP 3

Call 1799 (24 hours, 7 days). They will guide you on what to do next.

STEP 4

Report online at police.gov.sg or go to your nearest Neighbourhood Police Centre.
